About Us

Innovative Polyurethane Technology.   Our stone designs include sandstone, marble, rock face, Drystack, and a variety of brick types.  Designers, contractors and homeowners choose the affordable, highly realistic-looking products manufactured by our licensees because they offer the best characteristics of natural stone or cast stone for less cost, with matching consistency and durability, and offers superior features including lighter weight and the ease and cost of installation and repair.

The use of polyurethane to duplicate stone and brick surfaces represents a significant technological step forward for the building materials industry (U.S. Patent #6,607,683;#7,306,757).

A PolyRock composite rock panel eliminates the need to quarry stone and clay from the earth, and decreases the cost of adding a natural surface appearance to interior and exterior design applications.
The high-density polyurethane used is time tested and widely produced, and is also commonly used in a variety of applications from auto parts to roller blade wheels.  Products developed by our technology are made of polyurethane materials produced from reacting a polyol chemical with an isocyanate chemical.

Products are then surfaced with iron oxides that provide UV stability and the realistic color and accents of natural stones (U.S. Patent # 7,235,204).

The surfacing panels attach directly to wood, brick, concrete, or stucco with no additional structural support or lath required.  The product can be field-cut using standard woodworking tools and applies easily with screws or adhesive.  Its lightweight qualities reduce the need for additional labor and lift equipment for aboveground applications.  Using polyurethane, the products offer superior design flexibility for customized projects compared to the cost, weight and installation requirements of natural stone and brick.

Patented Production process creates the most authentic look in the industry.

The Products developed from PolyRock's patented technology are polyurethane-based and involve an "open mold pour and closed lid reaction curing  process" U.S. patent # 7,306,757".

The production process utilizes skilled labor to individually color the rock panels to create the most authentic look in the industry. The Products can enter the market at prices competitive to  the cost for either natural stone, brick or "cultured stone" (a cement-based molded product that is price competitive to natural stone, but restricted in shipping by its weight).

Production volume for licensees is highly scalable, based on the addition of incremental production lines.  Each line is anticipated to produce roughly 1.0 million square feet per year utilizing 2 shifts per line, however each licensee may independently develop its own line configuration and automated processes to expand production and development capabilities.
